This is the way we normally arrange a hot air balloon ride:

When we have arranged a day, when you will be our guest during the flight, you call us on the agreed date around 1 o'clock PM (for evening flights) for all practical arrangements, and to check if the weather is favorable to make a safe hot air balloon flight. For morning flights, we contact each other the evening before.

When we doubt about the weather, or if it is really not optimal for our flight, we arrange with you a new date to make the flight. The weather is namely the key to a beautiful and safe flight! Safety and security are our highest priority.

Ballooning is only possible two hours before sunset (evening flight) and up to two hours after sunrise (a morning flight). During the day there are thermals, which make safe flying inpossible.

About 30 minutes before the take off time, we meet each other at the launchfield.

We give all passengers a torough breefing and explanation of the flight before we take off. With some help from everyone we can inflate the balloon, and make him ready to fly!

The passengers get in the basket and we take off for a wonderful ride at different heights. The jeep with trailer (in contact with the pilot) is following the balloon. After minimum 1 hour of flying we will fly very low, and we will look for a landing area. After landing, we pack the balloon (with some help from everyone), and we put it back in the trailer.
Then it's time for CHAMPAGNE (or other drinks at your choise), the flight certificates (the proof that you went with us in the air). Also for you friends and family who stayed at the ground (the spectators) we have some drinks.

In the ballooning season, we fly every day with good weather, even during the weekends or holidays.

Below you find a table with take off hours, for the time of the year. These hours are informative and depend strongly on weather conditions of the day. Take off hours (we meet each other 30 to 40 minutes before take-off):

Other months: we arrange the take off time when we contact each other. A morning flight is mostly around 10 o'clock AM. Evening flights are mostly around 15h00.

We give value for money! Our flights last for at least 1 hour (in the air). With the preparation and putting away the balloon, this will take about 2 to 3 hours. Ballooning is possible all year long, if it’s nice weather, but to avoid updraught (rising and descending winds), we only fly early in the morning or dusk. We fly every day, if it’s nice weather; it’s busier during the weekend, so please book in time! Of course, we uphold the traditions; after the flight we toast with real champagne and everybody receives a flight certificate and a little souvenir. The followers also get a drink of course. Breakfast flights at daybreak are one of the nicest flights, worth getting up early. After the morning flight, we offer the whole company an appetizing breakfast.

Landing site:

The exciting and charming aspect of ballooning is that you always know where you take off, but you never know where we will land. The direction and speed depend on the wind; the pilot can only fly higher and lower by means of the burners. So please make sure somebody is following our trailer-car in order to pick you up after landing. In case this shouldn’t be possible, let us know, we’ll look for a solution. During landing, we request our passengers and followers to respect the land and its owner (most of the time, this is a friendly farmer).
